Teaching kids to drive is a good analogy. When we put students on the road without training they are a danger to themselves and everyone else on the highway. You can't be a responsible driver without the proper training and practice. One insurance company says a young driver is not experienced until they have a thousand hours. Lets hope it doesn't take that long to get our kids ready to navigate the internet.
