Pinterest in PE

Chris Pighetti
Every now and then during a trimester, I allow the students to choose the game of their choice.  Most times it's kickball or whiffleball.  It would be nice to mix up the choices a bit.  I'm thinking Pinterest would be a great resource for my students to research and pin the different activities they discover.  We could then as a class choose and adapt the rules how we see fit.  Plus I know there are a ton of PE boards on Pinterest.

I use Pinterest all the time for gaining new ideas.  I've never thought of having students use it.  That would be a great way to get them involved and use some of their ideas!

I love this idea! I know that our PE teacher often struggles with how to use technology to increase student achievement and engagement. This is a great way to incorporate it in a fun and easy way!

This is a really good idea. It is nice to have activities saved in some type of file where you can use for later use. I do have some PE boards saved on Pinterest that I will go to if needed.
