Resources

I found a couple of sites that would be helpful.  Prezi presentation appeared to make presenting fun for students and they could collaborate with other students.  Presentations could be shared from anywhere. Cacoo would help students in the Science class as students could use diagrams to design or engineer things that perform certain tasks.

I have used Prezi myself, but haven't had the students make the presentation themselves. Maybe this should be my next step out of my box.

A few years back, I took the time to share a video with my students on how to build a Prezi presentation.  I wanted to give them an alternative to PowerPoint.  It is amazing how quickly they picked up on it; some of them even like it better than PowerPoint!

I've heard my own kids talk about this being used in their classrooms.  I know they really enjoy it.  It is something that I haven't used, but plan to explore it.
