Review all posts and tags feature in Facebook.

Deb Henkes
I'm not sure if this is a new feature in the Facebook privacy area or not, but in Facebook > Privacy > Your Activity > "Review all your posts and things you're tagged in" could be very useful. This would be great to share with juniors and seniors getting ready to apply for colleges and scholarships. They could take a look at all of their posts/tags and clean it up a bit. Most of them at this point in their lives may have been on Facebook their whole lives - tagged/posted by parents and relatives and then posting themselves when they start their own account.

I'm not sure how many students use Facebook that much anymore, I think more of them are using Snapchat and Instagram, but it's still a good idea for them to check out their posts to make sure nothing will cause eyebrow raises by scholarship committees.

One thing I cannot figure out in Facebook is how to turn off comments. If anyone knows how to do that, please share!

I think it is an excellent idea for Juniors and Seniors to review all post and tags feature in Facebook as they may not want things there as they are applying for jobs and college.  We all need to do that.

The stories about athletes losing scholarship offers and coaches changing their recruiting tactics have become more and more common, and our students need to understand the long-term ramifications of their digital footprints.
