Rights and Responsibilities

User rights that should be the norms when connected are freedom of speech and safety.  We should be able to communicate our feelings/opinions in a respectful way and without causing harm.  We should also be able to connect to the digital world and feel safe as we navigate it.  

I feel like we are responsible for the information that we put out there.  We should be checking the validity of things that we choose to share.  We are also responsible for our own behaviors while using digital tools.  We need to ask ourselves if what we are putting out there is true and/or appropriate.  We need to ask our selves if it is something that will cause harm.  If it is, it is our responsibility to make the choice to keep it to ourselves.
