Rights and Responsibilities

ben.hertenstein
While schools have policies in place to help define in writing what is 'right and wrong', we still need to model these as educators. Not just model, but teach, reinforce, and repeat regularly. Much like the car analogy, we don't just hand small kids keys to a car and say here you go. We need to teach at a young age what is proper and keep teaching all the way through school. Life long learning. We need to constantly be reinforcing these and not just expecting them to know it or get it from home.

Students have the right to own the content they create. Students need to be responsible when using other peoples content.
