As teachers and parents, it is our responsibility to be role models and examples of appropriately utilizing the digital world. We need to teach students that it is okay to disagree and agree with others but there are appropriate ways to express our beliefs. We need to teach students to listen to others, actually listen, not just formulate a response regardless of what others are saying.
