Rights and Responsiblities

I believe we do have a right to access information and free speech (however, I always keep my political and religious opinions to myself when it comes to social media) when it comes to the digital world, but adhere to all laws.  I also believe we have a right to our privacy.  I feel there is too much "big brother" when it comes to the internet.  I asked my son who is a sixth grade and taking Digital Literacy if Digital Citizenship, right and responsibilities were discussed in his class.  He said not really at all.  Surprising!  (But I do like his teacher so far and believe he is doing a good job.  Just surprised the curriculum didn't emphasize this more.)
