I am a guidance counselor for elementary students. I could use the chat feature with my older students. They could easily contact me to ask questions or tell me that they need to speak with me. I could also "check in" with my students and that would allow for more privacy. I would however, have to check more into the settings to see if the conversations would be confidential. Even if the chat feature wasn't confidential my students could still alert me that they needed help faster. I could also quickly check in with parents through out the day and let them know how their kids were doing without having to return to my office and make a phone call.
