Settings for social media

Bryna Walker
I think that on facebook the easiest way to determine if you have all your settings set to private is to look at your profile from someone elses account.  I've found that even if I click on the button to allow you to see how other's see your account it can be different.  For instance, others may be able to access your address, email, work, phone number, etc. if those are not secured to private.

Re: Settings for social media

I went back into Facebook and LinkedIn and checked my privacy settings. Esp. after going to Pipl.com for our class and being greeted with my Facebook photo, I opted out of allowing people to search for my Facebook account using search engines other than the search bar inside Fb. LinkedIn is a little better designed, I think, in that I'm more likely to have to opt into than opt out of providing access to contact or other information.
