A cool resource that I learned about in another AEA Online class is CultureGrams. CultureGrams offers current, up-to-date reports on all countries and cultures of the world. Although I have not had time to play around with this resource as, like I said, I just learned of it in the last class I took, it seems to be a great place to get reliable information as the reports are written and reviewed by local experts. Students will be introduced to perspectives on daily life, history, customs, religion, government/economy, personal appearance, population, fun facts, and more. This resource includes different editions such as a Kids Edition that is more suited for elementary and middle school students; a World Edition; and States and Provinces Editions.

I can hardly wait to give this a try because I have been doing a worldwide geography project with the students in my afterschool program for several years now. We have friends from over 30 foreign countries all over the world and it would expand our knowledge beyond what we have seen from their Facebook pages.
