Sharing source-Socrative

I love to use Socrative. It is a quick way for me to assess what the kids understood from the day before as a "bell ringer." In addition, I use it to review before a test.

The kids really like Quizletlive because it randomly puts them into groups and turns reviewing into a competition.

I use the Remind App for communicating with parents.

I would like to try Edpuzzle. It appears I signed up for that in the past, but I have never used it.

I also really like using Socrative with my students. I enjoy how I can control the pace that students are going, insert feedback for answers that they give, and I can see what they answered immediately. I also like how they only need to have my access code, rather than a specific log in. This is especially helpful since I teach multiple grade levels and classes.

I would definitely recommend EdPuzzle! It's a great way for students to engage in a lesson, at their own pace, but yet allow the teacher to monitor their learning as well. It's easy to add videos from sources you might already use (Khan Academy or YouTube). Finally, the free version has always worked just fine for me.

I've heard of Socrative, but I haven't used it in my classroom before.
