I looked at Snapchat which is an app I use. I think it's important on Snapchat to make sure students know they can be visible on an interactive map. Other users can see where they are in real-time, such as when they're home and when they leave home, etc. It's an interesting setting, I have no interest in using it myself, but maybe others really like it. I think it's really freaky to know how simply you can be tracked and maybe without even knowing, if you haven't double-checked that particular setting.
