Tagxedo

I explored the site Tagxedo. This site creates word clouds and visuals to make an written assignment or essay visually 'pop'.  I would use this with my adult students along with their persuasive essay to enhance the presentation part of their essay. Instead of just reading the essay aloud, they could create visuals to go along with the essay that could be projected onto the screen. This could help to point out important details to supporting the theme of the essay, make it more interesting to the students listening, and stress important ideas of the essay.

Thanks for sharing this website. I had never heard of it and enjoyed the ability to create something online and then have it printed on a variety of products.

I am anxious to try this one out. I could see using this in my music classes as we do lyric studies. It would be a visual representation of lyrics to a piece of music that we are studying.
