Gmail will allow me to communicate effectively with other educators, students, parents and many other participants in the education system. Specifically I can use a group email to contact students about an online assignment and require them to respond to my email when they are done with the assignment. Parents can be contacted quickly when issue, both positive and negative arise concerning their student.
