Using Gmail, Google 101

dstrunk
I use Gmail often and knew about a few of these tricks so far, but labels and archive are functions I did not know about.  I think these will help with my personal and work email a lot.  Some of the ¨Labs¨ info confused me as I think Gmail/Google has possibly updated since these tutorials were made (2017-ish?) and the functions they talk about in ¨Labs¨ tab seem to be mixed in/throughout other various settings, maybe?  I don´t seem to have a Labs tab but I played around and was able to figure out how to do most of the things they said I´d find in the ¨Labs¨ tab.  I also don´t have the canned response as an option when composing an email, so I´m not sure if that´s something else that´s changed but I think that would be a good trick to have.  Google Hangouts sounds like a fun way to connect and communicate in the classroom.

I use my personal gmail for this course and I could not find the labs tab on my gmail.  In the course it said that you would need an administrator turn on this function.  I looked on-line to see if I could find any information, but it appears that it is no longer available.
