Using Gmail in the Classroom

Kelly Beierschmitt
I can use Gmail in the classroom to make my job simpler in many ways. I can use “Canned Responses” to send quick confirmations to parents/staff that I have received their emails. (i.e. when parents email that their child is sick I can send a canned response. “Thank you for letting me know. I hope they rest today and get well quickly!”) I can also create “Contact Groups” to quickly email a group of people. I can use "Contact Groups" to quickly email parents reminders, test dates, and weekly newsletters.
