YouTube

I would use YouTube to find, save and organize age appropriate videos for students to use in their research.

I wholeheartedly agree. Why reinvent the wheel when the good folks of the world have so graciously posted their how to's or whatever it may be to the internet for users to watch. There are plenty of platforms that take Youtube vids and aggregate into channels for your specific class.

I find YouTube a wonderful source of visual information that can be used to do research and find information that can take you all around the world.    I have used YouTube to research flying lessons, and to take helicopter rides over the major cities of the world.  Great exposure for teacher and students, alike.

Totally agree with you for students already familiar with the site. Younger students need to learn this as early as possible for an educational tool.
