gmail as a sub

As a substitute teacher I leave a handwritten note for the classroom teacher at the end of the day.  After reflection, I can see how using gmail to relay that note could benefit the classroom teacher and me in a few ways. If gmail is used there is an electronic copy of the note so it is on file if either of us need to review that day.  Also, the teacher could receive that note at the end of the school day rather than the next morning when they arrive at school. Therefore, the teacher could be more prepared for the next day.
