I have used gmail for parent/student communications in the past. Through the online class I learned how to create a signature and customize it with my avatar. I also was able to create a group email, which I didn't know how to make groups so that was beneficial as well. I appreciate the ability to label and archive emails from parents and students for reference if needed.
