inappropriate use of digital media

Mildred Stewart
There's nothing like walking into the local public library & being accosted by several people about your husband's terminal illness that you had just learned about the day before yourself because it was 'shared' on Facebook. Then the ignorant and hurtful message posted on his account toward me about his medical care.

Or how about the teacher who mass emails all the parents/ guardians of his class without using BCC so a domestic violence survivor's email address is exposed to the abuser.

How about your 5th grade son coming home to tell you about the boys looking at 'hot lips' photos at school? Nope, they give them full access without the forethought (how could that lack even be considered ignorance by a 'educational professional') of a porn filter?

Yeah, it was just great. NOT!

It sounds like you've had some pretty extreme and personal digital content violations. While many issues with digital content can be solved with common sense, unfortunately, that left many people long ago. Hopefully the issue with the school content was fixed and the school updated their filter. That is inexcusable.
