internet safety

Rhonda W.
I use Facebook. I need to be more diligent about checking my settings every month. As others have said, FB changes things periodically and we need to make sure we keep up with the changes. I keep my settings to private so that only people I am friends with can see them. I read some other posts that have said that they do not want to get Facebook so that they won't take the chance of getting fired for something that was posted. I don't think that should be a worry if we think before we post things. I will only post things that my kids, or their teams have done. I say good job to them and that we are proud of them. I will sometimes post pictures of vacations or other events, but always after we are back home from where we were.

You not only need to be aware of what you post but also what people post about you. I had an acquaintance loose her position because a family friend posted pictures of her at a bachelorette party. She did not post them they were not on her fb page and some seniors 'discovered' the post and they let her go.
