Peggy Wellman-Thielen
After exploring the many sites given with this module, I found five that I use and/or plan to use this year:

Classdojo.com is a fun and easy way to build community and is compatible with iPads and iPhones.

Kidblog.org is a safe site where younger kids can write and share, as well as get other students' ideas.

Book Creator for iPad will allow my students to be creative and share stories with others with writing ebooks

nces.ed.gov-here kids can share their opinions, and find lots of reliable information on many topics

amazon kindle-I would like to try this during the current school year. putting this app on our iPads would allow the students to keep all their books for a project in one location and have easy access to their ebooks
