3 uses of Gmail in the classroom

The first thing I would like to do with Gmail is to send out a weekly question to the students that will have to be answered within 24 hours. This will hopefully get the students to regularly check their email since so many do not rely on email because of Twitter or Snapchat. The second thing I would like to do with Gmail is to communicate with the parents and students as to when there is a test coming up or a project due date coming up. The third thing is I would like to come up with a task list that shows what the students should be doing whether it is a reminder of something that is due or even a reminder to be studying.
