What was new learning to you?

Most of it was not new learning for me. When I was younger, I took a lot of art classes. It was one of my favorite classes and I regret giving up those classes as I got older.

What was a review?

It was more so that the terminology was a great review for me. I completely forgot with the color wheel what would be considered analogous colors and complementary colors. I can visualize the color wheel but could not differentiate when the terminology would solely be stated.

How can you apply these concepts to a content area you currently teach?

I think that these concepts can be very beneficial when teaching students how to be creative with their projects in school. Students love to have that freedom with creativity. However, at times students struggle with being able to correctly apply these concepts in their projects. By teaching them these, it can open a whole new world for them to express themselves.
