I'm a substitute teacher at the local high school and the Financial Literacy course is a requirement to graduate. I also see it used in many other courses including business and health courses. I often share my life lessons of finance situations with students when there are a few minutes left of a class. They really like to hear what mistakes I/we have made and how we have handled them. I also facilitate math courses through the HSDL office at Kirkwood. I have two Financial Literacy courses that I monitor for them. I help students when they are having difficulty with concepts and score their written tests.
