Budgeting

Any child that has some sort of income, whether it's from an allowance or a job, should learn how to budget. They should write down how much income they receive and what things they plan to spend it on. These things could be the movies, candy, coffee, clothing, etc. They need to be sure that their income is more than what they plan to buy. They should also be taught how to save for a bigger purchase. For example, if they want to buy a new computer game, they may need to save for a few months.
