I am not on a lot of social networking sites. I do get on Facebook and went in to check my privacy settings. I was surprised to see my phone number listed since I don't remember putting that it. I would recommend everyone check to see what information is being displayed and to whom it is being displayed. I also stumbled upon a button that allowed me to see my page the way others see it. I also recently added a google account and saw I had Google+. I logged on to my account and figured out how to change the privacy settings to make things private. I don't post a lot of things on my social sites, but do recommend checking the settings monthly. I also only accept friend requests from people I know in person. I have seen many friends who accept a friend request from anybody who sends it to them.
