DC Internet Safety- App for Social Media Stalkers? What next?

What social networking site did you explore and what settings in that site should users be aware? Explore other participants thoughts to see if any of them apply to any social networking sites you or your students may be using.
.
I explored Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram social media. Along with looking at the site personal settings, I also very lightly researched the topic of stalkers and social media.  For what the site is worth, Sulleyman (2017) mentions that Facebook has more stalkers then Twitter, Instagram, and Snapshot. It also said that due to the nature of Linkedin, it has the worse chances of cyber stalkers. The Sulleyman site would not be a site that I would recommend to others, but it does make one question social media, like the following Mansur site.
.
Mansur (2011) said that there is an App for stalkers for social networking, which may affect cell phones too. Since, there seems to be an App for everything, it makes one wonder if that is actually true and then what is next.  Finally, Wikidot (2017) suggested that when a person clicks on “Like” in Facebook, this creates a link to public?  I guess that I would have to do research to verify anything those three sites said.  However, I am posting what they said to enable one to question social media postings.
.
Those three sites makes one sit back and think before posting on social media, no matter if the sites are totally accurate. The bottom line is that one must be very cautious and keep checking one’s social media personal settings.  Hopefully the sites “information” may jiggle some thoughts for being careful for us and our students.  Now, if there was an app that could keep kids totally safe, along with parent controls, that would be good.
