I opted to explore Facebook, which I am not on very often, but do like to catch up with friends and family from time to time. The only privacy setting I ever used was to block couple of people I used to know. I was never quite sure if they knew they were blocked however. I discovered they are NOT notified by exploring what happens when messages are blocked. I do think it would be very useful to let an unwanted "friend" or invite know that you are not even viewing them. I also found out how to block certain advertisers and how to limit what I share with others. All of this was explained step by step via PRIVACY link.
