I explored Gab. Under settings there are preferences link and account link. Under the preferences you can change who can see your posts and filters for what you see. Under account link you have two-factor authorization settings, verification settings, and data export settings. Many more personalized settings compared to Facebook, and I don't need to give as much of my personal sensitive info to the site.
