When signing up for a new website or app, students will often "log in with my ____ account." Adults see this as well of course, but for adults, many of them perhaps use their facebook account, though not many of my students actually have a facebook account. Point being, people, especially students, are not aware that when doing so they're giving permission for their info to be shared/stored between apps/websites. There's options avaialbe in Facebook to switch off integration of apps.
