I looked into my Facebook settings. I was quite surprised to see that some of the settings (like "Who can look you up using the phone number you provided?") were set to "Everyone." I'm very cautious with security and know that I never would have set it to "Everyone." This makes me wonder whether this particular setting is new, and the default it "Everyone." Now that I'm more aware of the fact that websites change their security from time to time, I'm much more likely to go in and check my options.
