I have a Facebook account. I go into the privacy settings from time to time to confirm my settings and make changes, as needed. The privacy checkup is very helpful. I can choose the audience for my posts and profile. People also need to be aware that when they post a reaction or comment to another user's post, they need to check that user's audience setting to see who will see the post. Also, be aware that users can change their audience at any time. If users are thinking about joining groups, they need to know if the group is public or private. That will determine who will see any posts to that group.
Students need to be aware of the privacy settings in Facebook and how to use them. They many times keep their account public and share more than they should.
