I looked at both my Facebook and Twitter accounts but in doing so I also looked at Location Services on my phone. For some apps, such as the Weather app or Google Mapping, it is crucial that Locations Services be enabled. For Facebook, however, I don't know that it is necessary for people to know where I am located or for Facebook friends to know that I am nearby. I don't accept friends that I do not know in person but for kids who allow anyone to be their friend this could allow them to give away personal information without them ever knowing. I also recently changed my Facebook settings to require me to review posts friends tag me in before they appear on my timeline. I can't control what friends are posting but this allows me to have a little more control over what is being posted. It also calls my attention to their posts and makes a good reminder if I needed to ask them to remove the post. I have checked my settings on both Facebook and Twitter in the past but it was good to review them once again.
