I checked my Twitter account, which I have created for professional use. I want a quick and easy way to communicate with my 9th graders. I also want to promote and celebrate the many accomplishments of the students and alum from the school as well. I posted a picture of the faculty 2 weeks ago, and I just happened to be scrolling through my former Tweets. I noticed an "odd" looking profile pic that favorite my Tweet, and much to my dismay realized that I had about 8 inappropriate favorites. Thanks to the help of my 8th grader, he helped me block those people from favoring in the future.
I have also changed the setting that I have to accept the follower on the account. Hopefully, this will deter unwelcomed followers.
