I use Facebook to stay connected to family and friends. I have looked over the privacy settings on multiple occasions just to make sure the settings are where I want them and to eliminate unwanted posts by random people popping up on my news feed while making sure I can approve any posts that I may be tagged in. Students should be reminded again and again that what is posted (on any social media) is there for all the world to see forever and this can impact future career plans.
