I signed up for Instagram which I had never used before. It wants to access your Facebook and Contacts. You would need to be careful with whom you would want to share your photos. Most people would want to select carefully and not make their photos accessible to the entire Instagram audience or to all of their contacts which could include both personal and work related people.
