DC Internet Safety

april52031@yahoo.com
Facebook is the main social networking site I explored. There are many different categories and areas to review to ensure your privacy is set where you want it. While reviewing my settings, I found a setting under Public Posts. The question was "Who can follow me?". Since all of my settings are to allow only friends to see my information, I assumed it was only friends watching my posts. However, this setting states that "Follwers see your posts, reels, stories and soundbites in Feed." This concerned me as followers don't send requests like Facebook friends do. I wanted only the people I approved to see what I was posting. It concerned me that people could follow me and see what I was posting without me knowing they were following my page.

I totally agree with the fact that you do not know who is following you or snapping you.  Facebook at least lets you look at the person and research the person that is wanting to follow or befriend you.
