I am an anti-social media person. I have a Facebook account because we needed one for work to view something that was shared with us. I still have no profile picture and don't intend to add one. I entered into my Facebook account to check out the privacy situation and explore. I have made some significant changes to my privacy as I want to stay private. Even though I select privacy there are still those other areas that may not keep you private (News Feed, search, and other Facebook places). It was interesting to learn about the different things in the videos and articles. It has expanded my social media knowledge, but hasn't changed my view on using it for myself. I feel our students need to be continually reminded about what they share on social media.
