I have had a facebook account in the past and thought I had set the items for privacy but discovered that even with that, people could still see things about me. When reading one of the other posts here, it stated you need to check often as Facebook changes items which may effect your privacy so thought that was interesting as I pretty much assumed once I set it, it stayed that way. It seems like people you hardly ever see or would not even talk to if you ran into at event, want to be friends with you and I thought that was pretty funny. Eventually, i decided to just not do social media and have no accounts currently set up. I know I will reestablish one in the future but keep it as private as can be and basically only have family on it. I just do not feel the need to share items about myself with the general public.
