I have a Twitter account and I don't use my full name. This can help to keep my identity private. I keep my account to private. In the settings page I check protect my tweets. This will only let people that I approve to follow my tweets. In photo tagging I choose only allow people I follow to tag me in photos. I always check my privacy every time there's up date.
