I went and reviewed my Facebook and twitter accounts. I have my Facebook settings to friends only. I only have people that I know as friends. I do not accept friend requests from people I do not know. As I have children in the same school that I primarily teach in, I do have some students as friends to help ensure I have contact if needed (a few friends only have Facebook accounts on iPods, and no actual cell phone). I know that it is a fine line, but I do not allow people to randomly post things to my wall, and I always monitor what I post.
