I use facebook and twitter. I generally only post on Facebook as I am most familiar with their privacy settings. I have my settings set to "Friends Only" and have minimal information entered on the site. Additionally, I do not accept friend requests from anyone I do not explicitly know. I also do not friend individuals that I work with. My work life and personal life are separate. I limit my posts to dear family and close friends. One setting I think is particularly important to adults as well as students is the "tagging" feature. I do not allow others to "tag" me without reviewing the photo or video. Too many things can be construed or edited inappropriately.
