The only social media account I have is Facebook. I looked at my privacy settings to make sure I had the highest settings. I also made sure I reviewed the tagging to make sure I review photos where I am tagged. I have my name on my Facebook account. I have gone back and forth on this issue. It is safer to use a nickname but the you miss out on friend requests from those who might be looking for me. This can be a strength or a weakness. I do not accept friend requests from people I work with or students or parents.
