As a Facebook user I try to be as stealth as possible! However, I have found that Facebook updates and changes their privacy settings at times and often does not disclose any changes with the users. I have had to get into the habit of checking once a month or so. I have only recently started placing my last name on my user profile and have my privacy settings switched to where no one except friends of friends can send me friend requests. Social media privacy settings vary and one can not assume that it is one size fits all. Checking your settings is a great habit to get into and a lesson we should be teaching our kids as well.
