I checked out my Facebook page as thats the only social media platform that I am a part of. I discovered that I had a couple of sections in my Facebook that were view able by either friends of friends or everyone. I changed these so they are only view able by friends. I don't like the fact of people I don't know looking at my information that I am sharing with people that I do know. I think parents and teachers should be very aware of this. I also do not add students as friends. I feel that is unprofessional.
