I personally, only use facebook as a social networking site. When I went to my page, I knew that I had turned on the setting to only allow friends to see my posts, but I was surprised to find out that people could search for me via the internet and I turned this off. I was pleased to see there were ways of blocking things as well. As a parent and teacher, it is important for us to explore these websites because our children and students will be using them and we need to help them see the options for keeping them safe!
