Several years ago a few HS students opened a Facebook page demeaning the HS principal. It was filled with hateful, hurtful messages and even some threats. It was hurtful to the principal and his young family. It also became a very teachable moment as students were called in and questioned as to why they had friended the sight. Many of the students just blindly friended the sight without regard to the actual intent of the sight, they realized that just accepting every friend request is not good practice.
