This example, is far different than many of the others that I have read, however it is something that I believe is becoming a problem. The other day I received an email from a 9th grader that only said...
"hey why haven't you graded it yet"
There was no punctuation, there was no explanation of what they wanted graded. Most importantly they never addressed me, or signed it. This has become too common! Students don't understand that there is professional ways to do things vs. personal. They write on social media, and in emails as if they were talking to a friend in a locker room.
